Hi guys! Nutrition Month is next month! Funny how fast time flies, right?
Anyway, the theme for the 2017 Nutrition Month celebration as posted by the National Nutrition Council is “Healthy Diet, Gawing Habit – For Life!” Unfortunately, talking points are not available yet as of the moment. So here's my take on this year's theme:
Eating healthy food is a lifestyle choice. What you eat is a contributory factor to whether or not you will develop a lifestyle disease when you get older.
This year's theme calls for awareness on the healthy diet. In order to eat healthy, you should first discriminate between the healthy and non healthy foods. And of course, never forget to eat in moderation. The diet must not only be healthy but also balanced.
However, eating a healthy diet today and then returning back to the old cheating ways tomorrow is not any better. That's why we have to make it a habit. You cannot eliminate bad cholesterol from your system with just a day of detoxifying. We need to make it a habit in order to live a fit, healthy life.
I will be uploading my theme interpretation in the form of a poster soon. Again, you will be free to use it as an inspiration in your own art work.
